Klinika dla Małych Zwierząt Wąsiatycz Orthopedic Diagnostics

  • We provide the highest standards of veterinary medical care.

  • Modern Diagnostics

Every orthopedic procedure should be preceded by establishing a proper diagnosis. For this purpose, in addition to a thorough orthopedic examination, we have the capability to utilize imaging techniques such as: traditional radiology (digital direct radiography), computed tomography, and ultrasonography. Arthroscopic techniques can sometimes be very helpful in orthopedic diagnostics, and occasionally in the treatment process as well.

  • Surgery

Our Clinic features a separate surgical block, which includes rooms for soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and an endoscopy suite with the capability to perform flexible endoscopy (bronchoscopy, gastroscopy) and rigid endoscopy (rhinoscopy, arthroscopy, and laparoscopy).

Each operating room is equipped with an anesthesia machine for administering inhalation anesthesia using isoflurane. During every surgery, depending on the indications, it is possible to connect a ventilator and use anesthetic monitoring (respiratory monitoring, ECG, pulse oximetry, capnometry, and Doppler blood pressure measurement). The availability of the aforementioned equipment significantly reduces the anesthetic risk for patients during surgical or endoscopic procedures.

Surgical treatment of a damaged cranial cruciate ligament (lateral suture, TPLO, TTA – Rapid, TightRope) and surgical treatment of patellar luxation.

Treatment of hip dysplasia (juvenile pubic symphysiodesis, double pelvic osteotomy (DPO) and triple pelvic osteotomy (TPO), femoral head and neck osteotomy, DARthroplasty, pectinectomy – iliopsoas tenotomy – hip joint capsule neurectomy, abbreviated as PIN).

Arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow, and knee joints.
