We have the appropriate equipment, such as oxygen cages, heart monitors, infusion pumps, blood pressure monitors, heating mats, a defibrillator, a ventilator, a resuscitation trolley, and others, which enable us to provide therapy that would be impossible at home. The inpatient care unit also features an isolation ward where Patients with infectious diseases stay. These patients are attended to by a specially designated staff member to ensure that this staff member has no contact with the animals in the main ward.
Our dog patients are taken for walks in a specially prepared area at least 3-4 times a day, provided their condition does not require special treatment. For more stressed patients, disposable houses are available that we can place in the stall – our cat patients use them most eagerly. Every patient is monitored throughout the day by qualified staff. For patients in more critical condition, we maintain an Intensive Care chart (IOM).
