  • He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Agricultural University in Wrocław. He obtained the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences on November 5, 1997, defending the dissertation entitled: “The prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii infection in cats in Poznań and the surrounding area in relation to the risk of human infection with this protozoan parasite.”

    Completed professional specializations in:

    • diseases of dogs and cats,
    • veterinary surgery,
    • veterinary radiology.

    From the very beginning of his professional career, he has followed the principle that every veterinarian should always be ready to help animal patients by possessing the latest veterinary medical knowledge, using modern diagnostic tools, and having access to the best treatment techniques. It is also important that, after the treatment process, physical fitness and independent functioning of the animal are restored through rehabilitation and therapeutic procedures, bringing joy and satisfaction to their owners.

    As part of his continuing professional education, he completed training courses at institutions including: T&M Texas University, Ohio State University, Quendo Center Las Vegas, Veterinary Institute NAVC Orlando, and the Cremona Training Center in Italy.

    Training topics important for his professional practice include:

    – surgical treatment of cranial cruciate ligament rupture in the knee — TPLO Munich, Germany; TTA Venice, Italy,
    – obtaining certification in early diagnosis of hip dysplasia in dogs using the PennHIP method — San Diego, USA,
    – orthopedic course — Ilizarov method,
    – a series of arthroscopy courses in dogs; Las Vegas (USA), Ghent University (Belgium), and the Endoscopic Training Center in Kurgan (Russia),
    – a series of courses in computed tomography imaging and interpretation: Cambridge (United Kingdom), Verona (Italy).

    Dr. Grzegorz Wąsiatycz participated in World Veterinary Congresses in Bologna, Berlin, Lyon, Bangkok, Vancouver, Prague, and others. Traditionally, since 2001, almost every year to this day, he has participated in the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, Florida. He is a co-initiator and the first chairman of the Surgical Section of the Polish Small Animal Veterinary Association. Dr. Grzegorz Wąsiatycz has given lectures at Veterinary Symposia in Lyon, Padua, and in Poland. Together with Professor Szymon Godynicki, he repeatedly conducted orthopedic workshops in Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine (Lviv, Odesa).

    He holds authorizations granted by the Polish Kennel Club for the assessment of musculoskeletal diseases in dogs (pedigree certification entry).

    He is an advocate of maintaining good physical fitness. Together with his entire family, he actively practices sports. They participate together in long-distance running events, cycling, and swimming.
