The CanidGait treadmill is equipped with a calibrated baroresistive sensor matrix and several synchronized cameras. Gait abnormalities in dogs and cats resulting from musculoskeletal changes or injuries are precisely analyzed, enabling targeted treatment in daily clinical practice. It is also used for the biomechanical analysis of gait and posture in physiotherapy.
Diagnostic Capabilities:
- weight distribution recording across all four limbs,
- early diagnosis of lameness,
- recording the duration of gait phases,
- recording and visualization of gait symmetry for all limbs (numerical and graphical data – butterfly diagram),
- step length recording for each individual limb,
- monitoring therapy progress and recovery,
- measuring functional deficits.
